Local gardens supported by our membership

John Innskeep House

Kain Park on Main Street

Kain Park on Main Street

A well-maintained garden with various green plants and a red shed in the background.

Hard work by our Weed Warriors keeps the weeds at bay in the Innskeep House herb gardens.

Kain Park on Main Street

Kain Park on Main Street

A vibrant garden bed with lush greenery and a brick pathway in front of a residential street.

Beautiful variety in the gardens at Kain Park on the corner of Main St and S. Locust Ave.

Marlton Post Office

Kain Park on Main Street

Potted plant with small American flags around it.

Customers at the post office often tell the ladies who care for these pots how beautiful they are. And they truly are!

The Verna Powell Memorial Butterfly Garden at the Gibson House

The Verna Powell Memorial Butterfly Garden at the Gibson House

A garden path with stone slabs surrounded by flowers and shrubs.

The five milkweed plants were doing quite well and attracting lots of pollinators. The lily plants all survived (yay!) and three vinca were added for color. It’s beautiful!

Leroy Homer Memorial Garden- Marlton Memorial Sports Complex

The Verna Powell Memorial Butterfly Garden at the Gibson House

Leroy Homer Memorial Garden- Marlton Memorial Sports Complex

Memorial stone with colorful wreath and flowers in a landscaped garden area.

Each year, the summer perennials are cut down (but not removed) to allow the township to plant mums in early September.  This is all done in advance of 9/11 tribute in honor of LeRoy Homer Jr., a resident of Marlton & First Officer on  Flight 93.

Loving care (and our weed warriors) keep our gardens beautiful
