Bev has been a member of The Garden Club of Marlton since its inception in 1976 and is, in fact, the club’s only charter member.
In those early days, Bev was instrumental in growing the club’s membership, reaching out to countless neighbors in the Marlton Lakes neighborhood and elsewhere in the township to recruit them.
Since 1976, she has served in roles of leadership as both an Officer and a Chair. Bev was President of the club three times, holding the office alone from 1985-1987. She currently serves as Vice President, a position she has held since 2016. Bev also has been Horticulture Chair (now Environmental Issues Chair) for many years, sharing with club members her tips and tricks for creating flower pots and blooming flower beds, attracting monarch butterflies with milkweed, propagating plants, and so much more. As Horticulture Chair and Director, she organizes the twice annual plant swaps that have allowed members to expand and enhance both their indoor and outdoor plant
